Health Sciences North, Sudbury
The $225 Million Health Care Centre opened in 2010. The new hospital was formed through the amalgamation of all local hospitals in the area. The city formerly had three community hospitals; Sudbury General, Sudbury Memorial, and Laurentian Hospital which is the site of the “Health Science North”, and one mental health and community service facility, Sudbury Algoma Hospital.
