Ontario Tech University

The $123M automotive research and training facility was completed in 2011. The multi-purpose, 16,300 square-metre facility offers a range of full-sized test chambers that allow for full climate, structural durability and lifecycle testing. The signature test chamber is one of the largest and most sophisticated climate wind tunnels in the world. It is capable of producing wind speeds in excess of 240 kilometers per hour, temperatures ranges from -40 to +60 degrees Celsius and relative humidity ranges from 5 to 95%. The integrated research and training facility spans five floors with space dedicated to research, education and training.
