Ontario Electrical Construction Company Limited (OEC) was incorporated on July 27, 1929.
Ontario Electrical Construction (OEC) is an industry leading electrical contractor providing complete electrical installations to the Institutional, Commercial and Industrial sectors across the Province. We were incorporated July 27, 1929. During the course of 91 years, we have constructed numerous industrial structures, data centres, institutional landmarks, transportation complexes, renewable energy utilities, mining and health care facilities.
The Company’s excellent reputation is a result of our emphasis on 3 core values; Safety, Quality and Experience. Our success has been predicated on adapting to our customers’ needs and continually exceeding their expectations. Our Team of Professional Engineers, Gold Seal Certified Professionals, Project Managers, Foremen, Electricians and Communications Technicians bring a broad skill set to every project. They have performed on an extensive range of Projects in the Institutional, Commercial and Industrial sector and developed the essential skills and expertise to successfully deliver any Project. Many members of our Team have 25 plus years of experience in the industry and actively share their knowledge and experiences with their younger colleagues. Mentoring is a key corporate strategy and part of a successful succession plan.
It insures a reliable and experienced Team member is representing Ontario Electrical Construction in the office and in the field. Staff members also receive regular update training to insure they are in tune with the latest technological advances.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail; ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards with minimal impact to our customers.
Our commitment to quality workmanship and service has resulted in OEC receiving industry recognition. In 2014, we received CBRE’s Technical Supplier of the Year award and the Service Excellence and Outstanding Contribution award in 2015 and 2016 for servicing the IBM account.
