Ontario Electrical Construction is prepared to take on diverse projects of any size- from modest commercial installations to massive, multi-million dollar complexes. We are equally adept at new construction and renovation work. We have completed LEED Gold Certified installations; Sick Children’s- Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning and renovations to designated Heritage buildings; University College Revitalization & Infrastructure Project.

Structured Cabling
Communications systems have become paramount to the operation of every successful business. The demand for improved technology has resulted in a constantly evolving industry. Regular training and upgrading are essential to offering customers the latest and most cost effective technologies. Ontario Electrical Construction is at the forefront, investing to insure our technicians have the equipment and training to service your copper, fibre and wireless requirements. FLUKE’s fibre and copper network testers are utilized to provide channel and link testing. The latest OTDRs and fusion splicers are used to test fusion splicing and crimp type terminations. Our technicians are certified to install a variety of structured cabling systems including Belden, Commscope, Hubbell, Panduit and Corning. Partnerships with these key manufacturers has allowed us to secure the credentials to certify our installations and provide customers with the comfort and assurance of the manufacturer’s 20 and 25 year warranties.

Registered Fire Alarm Contractor (RFAC) Program
Life Safety Systems are an integral part of every Institutional, Commercial and Industrial facility. Ontario Electrical Construction has a number of certified fire alarm electricians on staff and is registered as a qualified Fire Alarm Contractor by the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario. It insures compliance with all local and national regulatory bodies that apply to the installation, alteration, maintenance and inspection of fire alarm systems in the province of Ontario. The codes and standards shall include but not be limited to:

- CAN/ULC- S524- Standard for the Installation of Fire Alarm Systems
- CAN/ULC- S536- Standard for the Inspection of Fire Alarm Systems

Security Clearance
Registered in the Industrial Security Program (ISP): Organization Security Screening issued by the Canadian and Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
