Hospital for Sick Children’s - Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning, Toronto
The $400M Tower was completed in December 2013 and achieved LEED Gold Certification. The 21- story facility with state-of–the-art laboratories, learning facilities and multi-level interactive spaces is home to 2000 researchers. The building was designed to enhance collaboration. It is divided into research neighborhoods where scientists and trainees from a variety of disciplines work side by side to find solutions treating childhood diseases. It has been recognized as the largest child Research Tower in the world.
